Welcome to exciting learning in
the spirit of Thor Heyerdahl!
The Kon-Tiki museum is an exciting learning arena with a focus on heroic expeditions, archaeological excavations, environment, culture, oceans and migration.
The exhibition is easy to follow and there is separate information aimed at children about the
Kon-Tiki expedition (follow the crab "Johannes") and the RA II expedition (follow the monkey "Safi").

Guided tours
Guided tours can be booked on weekdays in Norwegian or English. The price is NOK 1200,- for school classes (maximum 30 per group). For other groups by agreement. Duration: 45-60 min. Payment at arrival at museum by card/cash. Please send a request with name of group, time of visit, number and language to kon-tiki@kon-tiki.no at the latest two weeks ahead of visit.
